Work Life Balance: Meeting times
In October 2018, the DESY Directorate published a bulletin for the regulation of family-friendly meeting times.
It states that regular meetings should be held between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Exceptions to this rule are possible if all employees invited to a meeting agree to a different scheduling.
Meetings that do not take place regularly should be scheduled in consultation with the participating employees and should also take place within the above-mentioned period.
Meetings at which employees of the other location (Hamburg or Zeuthen) participate should not begin before 11:00 AM.
